Our 30º storz connections are used as an auxiliary inlet to help supplement a fire protection system's water supply. The 30º elbow helps support a large diameter fire hose to help minimize kinking. The storz coupling reduces the typical connect time for emergency responders versus traditional threaded connections.
*Raleigh storz are unique in that they're supplied with both a ½" ball drip and ½" ball valve which provides both active and passive draining of the unit.
